St. John Bosco On-Line Learning Catholic School follows Alberta’s Program of Studies with the added spiritual dimension of permeating faith throughout the day.

We believe that by having and using Jesus as our model, by reflecting on scripture, the teachings of Jesus and following Catholic traditions, our students become confident, respectful, disciplined, caring and loving people in our world and society.

Celebration of our Faith:

- Monthly Liturgical Celebrations lead by our students

- Grade 4 Bible blessings

- Remembrance Day Celebration

- Ash Wednesday

- Stations of the Cross

We participate in various community service projects throughout the year!  Currently this school year our Grade 1 Class made a cute video that was sent to Senior Care Centers in the City.  Students told their own cute jokes.

We are also working on a school wide service project, Sharing our Love/Making Others Happy.  We are making Valentine Cards to be shared with seniors in our City. In the Spring our hope is continue with some service projects in our community with Covid restrictions in place.

Faith Programs Taught/Used:  For Religion, our school uses the Growing in Faith, Growing in Christ program.  This is an excellent resource that has been developed for children in Grades 1 through 7.

One of the bonus features of this program is the parent links that assist parents in supporting their children's faith journeys.

Our Division is located within the Archdiocese of Grouard-McLennan. The Archdioceses provides guidance through the Alberta Bishops for the delivery of Catholic Education. Information on the Archdioceses can be found at Information about the individual Parishes can be found at the links below:
